Baltimore Man Charged With Attempted Murder For Video Of Him Beating Man With A Baseball Bat

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 34-year-old Baltimore man was charged with first-degree attempted murder for a video of him attacking a man with a baseball bat, Baltimore Police said Friday.

Matthew Tenly was identified as a suspect in a video and from witnesses' tips following an assault about 2:45 a.m. May 17 in the 2800 block of Boston Street, police said. The video allegedly showed Tenly beating a 26-year-old man with a wooden baseball bat.

He is being held in the Central Booking Intake Facility.
