Man Charged With Murder In Baltimore City, County Slayings

Essex, Md. (WJZ) -- A man has been charged with first degree murder in the death of his girlfriend Monday night in Baltimore County.

A family member of Shelly Lynn Fillion, the victim, called the police after suspecting that something had happened to her after not responding for days.

Terrence L. Jenkins, 49, who was immediately identified as a possible suspect, was arrested Thursday night in Baltimore City.

When detectives conducted surveillance around the house, Jenkins initially fled on foot across Pulaski Highway.

He was caught and taken into custody, and when officials searched his house, they found the woman's body.

Jenkins is charged with murder in the death of his girlfriend in Baltimore County.

Jenkins is also facing additional murder charges in Baltimore City for killing a woman in the 3600 block of Pulaski Highway.
