Baltimore Man Back In The City To Face Charges In Deadly Crash

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Baltimore man is back in the city to face charges in the crash that killed a one-year-old.

Police say Wayne Green, Jr. was returned to Baltimore on Friday. He was wanted in the death of Jeremiah Perry.

Green allegedly hit an officer in Baltimore County and led police on a pursuit and crash that killed the child in Baltimore City.

The 38-year-old was hospitalized, but managed to slip out of Shock Trauma just before being charged.

Green was on the run for days before being tracked down at a North Carolina hotel on Saturday, Nov. 7.

He is currently being held at Central Cooking.
