Baltimore Man Arrested For Wife's Murder

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- At around 2:40 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 1700 block of Appleton Street in West Baltimore.

They found an adult female victim suffering from trauma to her head and unresponsive. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives immediately took control of the scene and began investigating. The victim was identified as 41-year-old Tiffany Ruffin.

Detectives identified the suspect as 48-year-old Charles Ruffin, the victim's husband, and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Charles Ruffin has been taken into custody by another jurisdiction and is currently awaiting extradition.
