Baltimore Man Arrested, Charged in 2014 Homicide in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Police in Myrtle Beach say a Baltimore man wanted for murder has been arrested after almost two years on the run.

Lt. Joey Crosby of the Myrtle Beach Police tells local news outlets that 50-year-old Pierre Alexander Haile of Baltimore, Maryland, was back in custody in South Carolina on Tuesday charged with murder and obstructing justice.

Haile is charged in the October, 2014, shooting death of 34-year-old Stephen Robert Skinner. Skinner was found dead of a gunshot wound outside a Myrtle Beach apartment.

Haile was located recently in Baltimore. It was not immediately known if he had an attorney.
