Baltimore Man Admits To Robbing Van With $93K Worth Of Prescription Drugs

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Baltimore man has pleaded guilty to the armed robbery of a prescription drug van.

Prosecutors say Stanley Johnson robbed a van containing $93,000 worth of pharmaceutical drugs.

According to his plea agreement, the 60-year-old suspect approached the driver of the van in a pharmacy parking lot on Reisterstown Road in Baltimore.

He ordered the driver to move to the passenger seat with a gun and began driving the van. Johnson eventually left the driver on the side of of the road and drove off in the van.

If the court accepts the plea agreement, Johnson will be sentenced to 20 years in prison.
