Baltimore Inmate Mistakenly Released Turns Himself Back In
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A man mistakenly released from the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center on Tuesday turned himself in a day after the incident.
Steven O'Leary, 38, was erroneously released from the booking center on Tuesday morning. He was booked on a theft charge and was awaiting transfer to a drug treatment house.
O'Leary returned to the District Court of Maryland for Baltimore City on Wednesday afternoon.
He has since been transferred to the Friendship House drug treatment program in Baltimore.
