Baltimore High School Students To See Boost In Their GPA

BALTIMORE (WJZ)--Thousands of Baltimore City high school students will see a boost in their GPA this fall.

According to our media partner The Baltimore Sun, a new system will now weigh honors and AP classes at one of the highest rates in the state.

It will be applied to students entering high school this year and retroactively to current students.

Previously, those students were earning fewer points toward weighted GPA's.

Weighted GPA's are often used to award scholarships.
