16 People Displaced After 3-Alarm Fire In Dundalk

DUNDALK, Md. (WJZ) -- Multiple families were displaced Friday by a three-alarm fire that broke out in Dundalk.

The fire was reported about noon at several row homes in the unit block of Flagship Road, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

Crews had gotten the fire under control about an hour later, the fire department said. One firefighter had to make a mayday call after running low on air in the attic while putting it out, a fire department spokesperson said.

No injuries were reported, but the fire left four of the homes inhabitable. The Red Cross is assisting 11 adults, five children and multiple pets that were displaced by the fire.

There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
