Police Investigating 'Targeted' Shooting In Lansdowne

LANSDOWNE, Md. (WJZ) -- Baltimore County Police are investigating what they call a targeted shooting in Lansdowne Sunday morning.

According to police, officers were called to the area of Virginia Avenue and McDowell Lane around 5:44 a.m. for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a man who said he was shot several times in his car.

The man was able to run to a nearby home and ask for help. He was transported to a local hospital where he is expected to survive.

Investigators say the man was targeted and they are considering this an isolated incident.
