Baltimore County officers 'peacefully resolve' Parkton barricade situation
PARKTON -- Baltimore County Police were able to peacefully resolve a barricade situation in Parkton, Maryland, on Friday, according to authorities.
Officers focused on a home in the 2500 block of Mt. Carmel Road for nearly five hours. The situation stemmed from a family dispute, according to neighbors.
"I thought it was more than a family dispute because the emergency vehicles have been going down Mt. Carmel Road for half of an hour," one neighbor said.
Two children were inside the home at the time of the barricade, county police said.
No one was injured during the operation, according to authorities.

Traffic in the area was rerouted as members of the department worked to resolve the barricade situation, according to authorities.
Police stood up roadblocks roughly two miles away from the home.
