Baltimore County Announces Free Parking Meters For Holiday Shopping

TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) --- Baltimore County has announced that there will be free parking at over 1,700 meters just in time for last-minute holiday shopping.

Designated parking meters will be free from Dec. 20 through Dec. 25.

Free parking meters will be decorated with red "Seasons Greetings" bags in the following areas:

  • Arbutus
  • Catonsville
  • Dundalk
  • Essex
  • Overlea
  • Parkville
  • Pikesville
  • Stoneleigh
  • Towson

 

"With free meter parking, it's even easier to visit and support Baltimore County's locally owned shops and restaurants," Baltimore County Executive, Kevin Kamenetz said. "There are literally hundreds of wonderful places to discover distinctive gifts and everything you need for a holiday get-together, from a new outfit to great food and flowers."
