Baltimore Co. Police Cruiser Collides With Car While Responding To Call

RANDALLSTOWN, Md. (WJZ) -- A Baltimore County police cruiser collided with a civilian vehicle in Randallstown just before noon Tuesday, while the officer was responding to a call.

According to Baltimore County police, the marked police car was in the area of Allenswood Road and Old Court Road headed to the scene of a traffic stop with a wanted person that fled, when the cruiser collided with the car. It had its lights and sirens on at the time of the collision.

The woman driving the car was taken to Northwest Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No other injuries are reported at this time.

The suspect that fled from officers that the traffic stop was located and police have two people in custody.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
