Baltimore Book Festival Celebrates 20th Anniversary

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will join the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Baltimore Book Festival at Baltimore's Inner Harbor this September.

The celebration of literary arts will feature over 275 artists, including  renowned and celebrity authors such as 2015  Newbery Medal Winner Kwame Alexander, The Crossover; Wes Moore, The Work; Maria Broom, The Village Bully; and Lou Dobbs, BORDER WAR.

The festival will feature 15 fully-programmed venues including the Enoch Pratt Free Library's Children's Stage, National Aquarium Ocean Exploration Stage, and the Food for Thought Stage, set to feature samples of recipes prepared by celebrity chefs and cookbook authors.

The Baltimore Book Festival will run from Friday, Sept. 25, 2015 until Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
