Autopsy Planned For Maryland Woman After Pennsylvania Crash

YORK, Pa. (AP) -- An autopsy is scheduled for a Maryland woman who died in a central Pennsylvania crash.

Fifty-eight-year-old Sheryl Walker died Friday night at a hospital from injuries she suffered in last week's Littlestown crash. An autopsy for the Westminster woman is expected Monday morning.

The York Daily record reports that state police say a 17-year-old New Oxford girl was driving a sport-utility vehicle and lost control of the SUV on a curve. They say she went into oncoming traffic and overcompensated upon returning, causing her to leave the roadway again. Police say Walker swerved to try to avoid the SUV, but they collided.

York County authorities say Walker wasn't wearing a seatbelt.

Authorities say the unidentified girl sustained minor injuries. She was cited for driving vehicle at an unsafe speed.
