Authorities Reviewing Arrest Of Juvenile

BALTIMORE (AP) -- The Baltimore Sheriff's Office says it is investigating video footage and complaints from the arrest of a young protester following the mistrial in the case of a policeman charged in the death of Freddie Gray.

Deputies caught up with the juvenile Wednesday after trying to arrest him earlier for unlawful use of a bullhorn.

Authorities said Thursday that the boy was pushed to the ground but did not require medical treatment, and that the video and concerns about the arrest techniques used are being reviewed by internal affairs officials.

Officials also say the video shows an officer involved in the arrest being kicked in the face by a bystander. They are asking anyone with additional video footage or information about the person who kicked the officer to contact authorities.
