Authorities ID Final Person Killed in Md. Apartment

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) — Authorities are identifying the last of seven people killed in an explosion and fire at a Maryland apartment complex.

Montgomery County police identified the woman in a news release Wednesday as 40-year-old Saeda Ibrahim.

Seven people were killed in the Aug. 10 explosion at the Flower Branch apartments in Silver Spring.

Investigators with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have said that a buildup of natural gas caused the explosion.
