Artifacts Being Returned To Ellis Island Following Superstorm Sandy

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Nearly 3 years later, artifacts being stored here in Maryland following Superstorm Sandy are being returned.

Over a million archival documents and thousands of artifacts had to be removed from the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration when the storm hit back in November 2012.

They were taken to the storage facility in Landover.

The items are set to be returned tomorrow.
