Arnold Woman Arrested For Allegedly Kicking 'Ex-Best Friend's' Truck

STEVENSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- A 42-year-old woman is charged with malicious destruction of property after she allegedly was seen kicking her ex-best friend's truck.

Emily Cybil Buttorff of Arnold, Md. was arrested on Oct. 25 by Queen Anne's County Sheriff's deputies after a report came in for a suspect trying to enter a residence in the 100 block of Margaret Drive.

Deputies found Buttorff hiding outside the residence.

She denied she tried to enter the home.

Buttorff did tell deputies that she kicked a Ford truck at the location causing $2,000 in damages.

The resident of the home told deputies he was asleep when he heard thumping noise and saw Buttorff allegedly beating on his truck.

She was released after a $10,000 bond was posted.
