Armen Keteyian on the Scott Garceau Show

Armen Keteyian, Emmy Awarding Leading Corespondent on the 60-Minute Showtime, gives is inside on the drugs going on in horse racing.
Keteyian has been working on this investigation for a while now and for the first time you are going to Arthur Hancock III, Pimlico, and Denny Phipps, all saying the same thing. Some of the most influential people all think these drugs need to reach an ending point. The sport of horse racing has reached a tipping point, according to Keteyian. The sport is now "turning towards Travis Tiger Doping Agency."
There are about 38 jurisdictions in 33 different states all having there own rules.
The future of horse racing is on the line and is nothing compared to what it was years ago. More about the vet then who the horse is. Frank Stronach, owner of Pimlico, wants to put in his own set of rules for his track.
Because of the use of therapeutic and designer drugs, the number of average starts for a horse has declined from 45 to 13. The drugs that are being used make the horses longer and harder to restore.
Make sure to tune in on Showtime, Wednesday night at 9 o'clock for more information with the drugs and the Belmont Stakes with Armen Keteyian.
