Anne Arundel County residents encountered problems with 911 emergency system Thursday
BALTIMORE -- The 911 system in Anne Arundel County experienced technical problems on Thursday, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
People who needed emergency assistance received a busy signal and experienced delays, according to authorities.
Police urged people to remain on the line until their call was processed.
Text messages could still be made to 911 without any difficulties at that time, police said.
The problem was resolved by Thursday evening, according to authorities.
