Anne Arundel County Opens Warming Centers

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County is opening warming centers to prepare for snow and extremely cold temperatures expected in the next few days.

The county says the county's four police district stations opened Tuesday morning for residents who need a warm place to stay.

The county says residents should take their own sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, medication, food and water.

Anne Arundel County is under a Winter Storm Warning with the heaviest snowfall expected late morning through the afternoon
