Anne Arundel County Man Charged With Impersonating Police Officer

HANOVER, Md. (WJZ) -- An Anne Arundel County man is behind bars--charged with impersonating a police officer.

Authorities say Jack Chandler, 20, pulled up next to a woman on Dorsey Road in Hanover, displaying a silver badge and yelling at her through the window.

He then pulled ahead of the victim--who was actually an off-duty police officer--slamming on his brakes and changing lanes.

Eventually, the woman was able to pull off the road.

She was later able to identify Chandler as the suspect in a photo lineup.
