Annapolis School To Show Off Efficient Home

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- It's hi-tech, hyper-efficient and very small.

It's Tiny House, and Gov. Martin O'Malley and local officials on Thursday will be getting a look at the project that students at the Key School in Annapolis have been working on this summer.

Tiny House is part of a broader sustainability education experience.

The 210-square-foot house is meant to demonstrate the latest sustainable building materials and green technology, including solar electricity, rainwater filtration and innovative design to maximize space and efficiency.

The students worked with community leaders, sustainability experts and educators on the project.
