Annapolis Police Arrest Suspect In 2 Shootings

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) -- Police in Anne Arundel County arrest a suspect in two shootings.

The first happened around 2:30 p.m. Friday in the 1800 block of Copeland Street. That's where officers found a victim with a gunshot wound to the face.

The victim was flown to Shock Trauma for treatment. Their condition is not known.

And while police were on scene of the first shooting, they got a call for shots fired in the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue.

Police found a second victim with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was taken to an area hospital.

Officers were able to track down and arrest the suspect.

The suspect's identity has not yet been released. Criminal charges are pending.
