Annapolis Man Charged With Murder In Father's Stabbing

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ)—Police in Annapolis have charged a man with murder after they say he stabbed his father to death.

It happened around 2:45 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of Atwater Drive.

Upon arrival to the scene officers found 44-year-old Martin Jolalpa-Vazquez, of Annapolis, bleeding profusely. He was transported to an area hospital where he later died.

Police say they quickly located the victim's son, 22-year-old Leobardo Jolalpa-Ramirez, of Annapolis, where he was apprehended.

Jolalpa-Ramirez is charged with first and second degree murder, manslaughter, first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure.

He is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center without bond.
