Annapolis Homicide Under Investigation

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ)-- Annapolis police are investigating a fatal shooting.

The victim has been identified as Charles E. Carroll, 25, of Baltimore.

Just after 9:30 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the 900 block of Royal Street for several reports of shots fired and a vehicle striking a residential building.

Officers located the crashed vehicle and an injured male victim inside.

The victim was shot and died from his injuries.
