4 Injured After Ambulance Flips Following MTA Van Collision In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Baltimore city ambulance flipped over after it collided with an MTA mobility van Monday morning, injuring four people.

According to city police, the accident happened at Sinclair Lane and Moravia Road around 9 a.m. The road was closed for the investigation.

The ambulance, who was responding to a service call, flipped over after the collision.

The Maryland Department of Transportation said Mobility Coach 3038 was headed southbound on Sinclair Lane as City Medic no.6 was headed westbound on Moravia Road. The driver and passenger in the MTA van along with the two medics in the ambulance were taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

MTA Police is investigating the incident.
