All Defendants Plead Not Guilty In Freddie Gray Case

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Prosecutors say all six Baltimore police officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray have pleaded not guilty.

Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby issued a statement Tuesday saying all the defendants have entered pleas of not guilty.

Mosby says prosecutors look forward to trying the case.

The trial is scheduled for Oct. 13. A pretrial motions hearing is set for Sept. 2.

The 25-year-old man died April 19, a week after he suffered a severe spinal cord injury in police custody.

The six officers face charges ranging from second-degree assault to second-degree "depraved-heart" murder.
