ALCS Tickets On Sale This Week As Orioles Host Royals

BALTIMORE (AP/WJZ) -- The Baltimore Orioles' run at a World Series berth resumes Friday at Camden Yards.

The Orioles locked up home-field advantage in the next round of the playoffs when the upstart Kansas City Royals knocked off the Los Angeles Angels late Sunday night.

That means the American League Championship Series begins Friday in Baltimore, with Game 2 in Baltimore on Saturday.

Major League Baseball has not yet announced game times.

Fans who make a $250 deposit ON A 2015 season plan by noon Monday have the chance to buy tickets during an exclusive, online-only pre-sale Tuesday at 10 a.m.

The Orioles will also have a public sale for the series Thursday at noon through its website--though only a few scattered seats are expected to be available.

A maximum of four tickets per ALCS game may be purchased.

The Orioles haven't been to the World Series since 1983. They advanced to the pennant series Sunday after completing a sweep of Detroit.
