Adam Jones Out For 4th Straight Game

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Orioles centerfielder Adam Jones is out of the lineup yet again for the fourth straight game.

Jones experienced continued soreness from his apparent rib cage strain over the weekend. He participated in some pregame warm-ups at Fenway Park this morning, but the Orioles will start Joey Rickard in center field against the Boston Red Sox.

Never fear Orioles fans, manager Buck Showalter said on Sunday that he thought Jones was close to returning and Brittany Ghiroli said Jones only feels a little discomfort swinging.

Jones has not played since last Wednesday.
