Abindgon Panera To Host Fundraiser For Fallen Harford County Sheriff's Deputies

ABINGDON, Md. (WJZ) -- The Panera Bread in Abingdon will be hosting a fundraiser starting Friday to benefit a fund honoring two fallen sheriff's deputies.

The Panera was the site of a shooting last month, where two Harford County Sheriff's deputies were killed.

The restaurant says 100 percent of the sales from Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 13 will benefit the Harford County Deputy Sheriff's Benevolent Fund.

The fun honors fallen deputies Pat Dailey and Mark Logsdon who passed away on Feb. 10 in the line of duty.

The fun was formed in 2006 to collect donations and provide resources to all local first responders and their families in times of need.

"All of us at Panera Bread continue to extend our thoughts and prayers to the victims of the February tragedy and their families," Panera said in a statement. " We are pleased to dedicate our efforts these next few days to such a great charity that supports them and all of our first responders.  Our hope is that this weekend will be another step forward in the healing process for our entire community."
