Threat Against Aberdeen Middle Deemed 'Non-Credible'
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Aberdeen Middle School was on a modified lock Tuesday down after a "general threat" was posted on social media, according to police.
Aberdeen Police have since said the threat was determined to be "non-credible."
Investigators say an unknown person sent a message to several students through a new social media app called "Sarahah." Police found out about the threat around 7:30 a.m.
Harford County schools spokeswoman Lindsay B. Bilodeau said "all appropriate actions were taken immediately," including a modified lock down that allowed normal school activities to continue, but limited access to the building and prevented students from going outside.
