Anne Arundel Police Investigate Convenience Store Robbery

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WJZ) -- Anne Arundel County police are investigating a robbery at a Glen Burnie Royal Farms convenience store early Sunday morning.

According to police, a man entered the store around 5 a.m. and approached the counter. He picked up a donation jar, handed it to the clerk and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect fled on foot toward Oak Manor Drive with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police searched for the suspect but did not find him. He's described as a black man in his early 20s with a heavy build. He was wearing an olive green shirt and tan pants.
