A Final Service for Bethel AME Church's Rev. Frank Reid

BALTIMORE (WJZ) --  Reverend Frank Reid III, will give his final service to the congregation at Bethel AME Church in Baltimore on Sunday morning.

He has served as a minister at Bethel for 28 years. Reverend Reid has been chosen as a bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church.

The appointment is particularly historic because he will now follow in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, who were both bishops, also named Frank Madison Reid. Reverend Reid will lead the AME churches' social justice mission.

Services begin Sunday at 9:45 a.m.
