87-Year-Old Woman Dies in Frederick Crash

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- An 87-year-old woman was killed in a car crash in Frederick Tuesday, according to Maryland State Police.

Around 6:58 p.m. police say the woman stopped at a stopped at stop sign at Old Frederick Road in her 2012 Volkswagon and failed to yield the right away and pulled into the path of a 2004 Chevy pickup truck, that was traveling northbound on Route 15.

The woman was ejected from the car and later died.
