6 Shot, 3 Fatally, In Baltimore Over Holiday Weekend
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Six people were shot, three fatally, over the long holiday weekend, including a 16-year-old.
Police say Oscar Torres, 16, was killed and another person was critically injured early Monday morning in the unit block of S. Mount.
According to WJZ's media partner, the Baltimore Sun, there were dramatically fewer shootings than last year, when 12 people were shot, three fatally.
So far this year, 75 people have been killed in Baltimore. That's fewer than in the previous three years.
