6 Injured In Single-Car Crash On I-95

RISING SUN, Md. (WJZ) -- Six people were injured in a single car crash on I-95 Friday evening.

According to police, it happened around 7:30 p.m. A 45-year-old was driving north in a silver Ford Expedition when it traveled left across three lanes and then overturned in the median, finally stopping on the shoulder of southbound I-95.

The driver and one passenger were flown to Christiana Hospital. The four remaining passengers were taken by ambulance to Union Hospital in Elkton. None of their conditions are known.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
