5-Alarm Fire Causes University Of Maryland To Close Early Monday

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 5-alarm fire near the University of Maryland College Park campus has caused the university to close early on Monday.

The university said it is closing at 1 p.m. on Monday because of poor air quality. Those on campus are being told to stay inside and close their windows and doors.

"Due to poor air quality from fire near campus, the University of Maryland, College Park is closing at 1 pm on Monday," the university tweeted out on Monday.
