Ryan Wilson Of CBS Sports Recaps Week 9 In The NFL

Ryan Wilson from CBS Sports joins The Scott Garceau Show with Jeremy Conn and Femi to discuss the NFL games this past weekend. The Ravens are now at the bottom of the AFC North division with 2 back to back loses.  The 43-23loss to the Steelers last night, have fans wondering if they are going to come up short for the playoffs again this year.  Wilsons' take on the performance of the Steelers yesterday was, "It took the 1st quarter to get things going, something clicked and James Harrison went crazy."

This was a pretty physical game and Wilson states, "I've never seen Joe Flacco so rattled against the Steelers."  Towards the end of game Flacco just spiked the ball and seemed like he had enough.  "It's upsetting if you're a Ravens fan watching them get sliced and diced."  After the 3rd quarter Roethlisberger got things really going and there was no stopping him.  The Ravens were definitely outplayed by the Steelers.

Moving on to the other big game of the weekend, was the New England Patriots win over the Denver Broncos 43-21.  Peyton Manning threw over 400 yards, but "Manning was as down on himself publically I've ever seen," says Wison.  He goes on to say, "He usually figures it out by halftime, but he didn't do that yesterday.  It was a terrible game, but he is Peyton Manning today and tomorrow he will be Peyton Manning and the offense is explosive."  New England forced turnovers against Manning and it just wasn't one of his best games.
