4 People Displaced After House Fire In Montgomery County

KENSINGTON, Md. (WJZ) -- Four people are without a home after a fire in Montgomery County.

The fire broke out on Midvale Road and University Blvd. in west Kensington.

Fire crews say they were in the area and happened to notice smoke.

Crews went to investigate and found a fire in the basement of the home.

Everyone was able to make it out safely.

Investigators believe the fire started as a trash fire outside and spread to the home.
