3 Injured After Vintage Car Crashes Into Police Cruiser

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- Maryland State Police say three people were injured when a vintage sports car crashed into a trooper's cruiser in Annapolis.

It happened about 4:15 p.m. Sunday on route 50 near Route 45. Troopers say 58-year-old David Krebs of Annapolis was driving a 1967 MG when he changed lanes and lost control.

Police say the car swerved onto the shoulder, hit a concrete barrier and then hit the rear of the police cruiser, which was parked for a traffic stop.

The Capital of Annapolis reports that the trooper, Krebs and a passenger in Krebs' car, 39-year-old Tiffany Kelsey of Annapolis, were taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.

Police say the trooper was treated and released; Krebs and Kelsey were admitted.
