3 Families Displaced After Partial Collapse In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- No one was injured after a building partially collapsed on Thursday night.

It happened in the 3900 block of Edmondon Ave.

When units arrived they found two occupied rowhomes on Edmondon Ave. were partially collapsed, fire official said,

One family was home when the incident occurred but all of the occupants made it out safely.

Baltimore Fire Department Spokesperson Samuel Johnson says the family of the second home was not on the premises at the time of the incident. Fire department personnel were able to speak to the occupants of that home and they stated that all of their family members were safe and accounted for.

Three families are being assisted due to the collapse.

The cause of the collapse remains under investigation.
