28-Year-Old Killed In Double Shooting Wednesday Night

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- After two people were injured and one of them died in a shooting in East Baltimore Wednesday night, police are investigating.

Officers responded to the 2200 block of Oliver Street shortly before 10:45 p.m.

They say they found 28-year-old Derrick Walker and an unidentified 20-year-old woman suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest and shoulder, respectively.

They were both transported to a hospital, where Walker was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating another Wednesday night shooting in which a 25-year-old suffered wounds to his arms and stomach and a 22-year-old suffered wounds to his shin.

Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
