26-Year-Old Former Lifeguard Fatally Shot In Fells Point

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Baltimore Police are investigating after a man was killed following a shooting in Fells Point Saturday night.

It happened just before midnight in the 500 block of S. Broadway Street.

Police say 26-year-old Domonique Dungee was shot in the torso after police believe he got into an argument with an unknown suspect.

Dungee was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital where he later died.

Gwendolyn Chambers, a spokesperson with the Baltimore City Recreation and Parks confirmed  to WJZ that Dungee was a lifeguard since he was 14-years-old in the city.

According to Chambers, Dungee resied from the job about a month ago.
