21-Year-Old Arrested In Glen Burnie Charged With Baltimore Murder

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged with a Baltimore murder that occurred in Baltimore April 28.

Detectives located Damonte Johnson in the 100 block of Mountain Road in Anne Arundel County.

When he was arrested, police say he had a handgun that is possibly connected to the murder and attempted murder he is now charged with.

Johnson had been identified as the primary suspect in the shooting death of Ronald Price in the 2100 block of Ashton Street.

He was also identified as the primary suspect in a non-fatal shooting that took place on May 2 in the 500 block of Freeman Street.

After his arrest, Damonte Johnson was transported to Central Booking where he has been charged with first degree murder, attempted first degree murder and other related charges.

Johnson is being held at the Central Booking Intake Facility.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department will be charging Johnson for possession of a handgun.
