20,000 Expected For Run Across Md.'s Bay Bridge

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- About 20,000 people are expected to run across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge this weekend as part of a 10k run.

The "Across the Bay 10K" is being held Sunday. The race will shut down one span of the bridge from 2 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Runners will start on the Annapolis side of the bridge and end on Kent Island in Stevensville. A total of 4.3 miles of the 6.2 mile course will be on the bridge.
