20-Year-Old Man Arrested For Murder Of Former UMD Football Player David Mackall Jr.

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A 20-year-old man was arrested Thursday in connection with the murder of a former University of Maryland football player last month.

Police charged Kalim Satterfield with first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, and multiple handgun violations.

According to investigators David Mackall, Jr., 28, was shot and killed on May 29. The incident happened in the 1900 block of Braddish Ave.

Authorities later identified Satterfield as the suspect. He is scheduled to see a court commissioner Friday.
