2 Wicomico County Fires Ruled Arson

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating two fires in Wicomico County it has ruled as being deliberately set.

The office said in a news release that the first fire was reported about 3:15 a.m. Friday in a two-story house in Salisbury. Officials say the blaze caused $100,000 in damage.

Fire officials say the second fire was reported about 5:10 a.m. Friday in a wood frame mobile home in Parsonsburg. Damage was estimated at $3,000.

Investigators are asking that anyone with information about the fires contact the State Fire Marshal's Office.
