2 Teens Arrested After Carjacking, Multiple Armed Robbery Attempts

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Two teens were arrested after Baltimore Police say they were involved in an armed carjacking and multiple armed robbery attempts on Halloween.

On October 30, 2016, police say a driver was approached  in the 100 block of E. Lanvale Street by two suspects who asked the victim to get out of the car. When the victim complied, they were approached by three additional suspects who went through their pockets and then stole the victim's car.

Baltimore Police say on Halloween they investigated three separate armed robbery attempts and an armed robbery. It was later determined that the vehicle being used to commit these crimes is that of the stolen car from the night before.

Two 14-year-olds have since been arrested after a brief foot chase with police.  The stolen Ford Focus was also recovered.

Both teens have been charged with stolen auto, armed robbery, and attempted armed robbery.
